Folder path refers to Cache

Hi there. I don't know if this is a bug but at least in my case I'd like it to work differently if possible: When I drag a video from my Muse to Final Cut this reference is made to the Cache file and not to the file that's within my Muse folder when I click "reveal in Finder" in Final Cut. Is that by design? Can this be changed? It takes disk space and it also lead to the files missing whenever I clear the cache. Thank you for your time and effort. Gufte
