Sidebar: shortcut badge and disclosure chevron overlap on hover

BugMacCompletedReport This Post
Oct 1

When I hover a pinned collection that has sub-collections, the disclosure chevron is drawn on top of the badge on the right (item count / shortcut hint "⌘5"). The right padding of that row also looks tighter than on the other rows, so the badge sits too close to the edge.

Steps:
1. Create a collection with sub-collections and pin it.
2. Hover the collection in the sidebar.

Expected: chevron and badge sit next to each other, with the same right padding as the other rows.

Nick, thanks for the heads up on the overlap and padding issue in the sidebar. We're looking into it and will post any update here.

Nick, the latest update gives the sidebar's open and close arrow a place of its own.

In Muse 1.0.43, hovering a collection with sub-collections swaps its count for the arrow, and holding Command still shows its ⌘ number.

Muse should automatically ask you if you'd like to update, and if not, you can open Settings and check for updates.
