Middle Mouse or hold spacebar option to move time windowRob WestA fairly common metaphor in mac apps - holding the middle mouse while dragging (e,g., Davinci Resolve, others) or holding space (many apps, but famously Photoshop) feels like a nice friction remover to theorycrafting a future time. Alternatively, since moving the map is less of an operation I do than moving the time window, selfishly, I'd even advocate for holding space/middle mouse to scroll the map, but dragging with no modifiers moves the time window.Automatic Reply Rob, thanks for sending this over – the spacebar or middle mouse shortcut would definitely smooth out navigating the timeline, and we appreciate the comparison to how other tools handle it. We'll take a look at what might work best for Atlas and let you know here if we have any updates.Oct 5
