Yes, a free one. Loop walks you through it in a few minutes.
Free up to 10 GB a month, then about $0.015 per GB, paid to Cloudflare. Cloudflare may ask for a card.
macOS 14 or later. Recording needs macOS 15.
Loop stores every file and link in your own free Cloudflare account, so it shows Not Set Up until that account is connected. Choose Set Up Loop in the menu bar panel, or in Settings under Account, and Loop walks you through signing in and turning on storage. It only takes a few minutes. If a teammate invited you, choose Join a Team instead and open the invite link they sent you.
A simple electronic signature. They type their name, and you get a signed copy with a record.
Press the + beside Templates in the sidebar, or choose File, then New Template, and pick a PDF, Word, Pages, PowerPoint or Keynote file. Loop opens it so you can place your fields and signatures on the pages. Press Done and the template is saved. Press Cancel and nothing is saved, so you can open the editor and look around freely.
Open the template and press Use Template. Fill in the fields, then add the name and email of each recipient. The document fills in beside you as you type. Press Create Link and Loop makes the link and copies it, ready to paste into your own email or message. Loop does not send anything itself, so you stay in control of how it reaches them.
Fields are the blanks you fill in each time you use a template, such as a client name or company. Client Name, Company and Date are suggestions to start from. A field only exists once you place it on the page, so place the ones you need and add your own with New Field. Date fields start as today's date. Each field prints onto the document exactly where you placed it.
A Recipient is a signatory you add each time you send a copy, by typing their name and email in Use Template. A Fixed Signatory is the same person on every copy, for example you or your business partner, so you enter their name and email once on the template. Copies ask for signatures whenever anyone is listed, and each signatory signs in the order shown.
Open the template and find Signatories. Press the ... beside a signatory to move them earlier or later in the order, change them between Recipient and Fixed Signatory, or remove them. Add Signatory adds another. If you remove everyone, copies stop asking for signatures, and adding a signatory turns signing back on. Each signatory sees the signatures before theirs.
Loop does not send email. Create Link makes the link and copies it, so you can paste it into your own email, message or chat. This keeps you in charge of the wording and the timing, and your files stay in your own Cloudflare account throughout. Reminders and team invites work the same way: Loop opens a ready-to-send email in your mail app for you to review and send.
Open Settings, choose Notifications, and set Reminders under Signing to After 1 Day, After 3 Days or After 7 Days. When a signatory has not signed that long into their turn, Loop shows a Not Signed Yet notification once. Click it and a ready email opens in your mail app, addressed to them with the link, so a nudge takes one click.
You can make a template from a PDF, or from a Word, Pages, PowerPoint, Keynote, RTF or ODT file. Anything that is not already a PDF is turned into pages first, so you can place fields and signatures on it the same way. Each copy you create is a PDF with your typed words printed on it.
Open the template and look at Sent. Your 12 most recent copies are listed by recipient, showing whether each is Signed, Opened or Not Opened. Click any one to see its full activity, including who opened it, how far they read and when they signed. Copies are ordinary links, so everything you can do with a link works on them too.
When Feedback is on for a link, readers can leave notes and emoji, and on PDFs and pictures they can also draw on the pages. Word and similar files become pages, so they can be drawn on too. Drawings are seen by everyone with the link, and your activity shows who drew on which page. Turn Feedback on or off for each link, or set the default in Settings under Defaults.
Open the link, choose Settings, and press Replace under File. Everyone with the link then sees the new file at the same address. Loop keeps every earlier version, along with how many people read each one, so you always know who saw what. The File menu has Replace File too.
Open the link and find the Versions card. It lists every version of the file with its size, the date and how many people read it. Press Restore on an earlier one to make it current again. The version it replaces is kept, so you can switch back at any time. All versions are stored in your own Cloudflare account.
Open the link, choose Settings, and look for Chat Preview. You can set a title, a description and a picture, best at 1200 by 630 pixels. To set a default picture for all your links, use Customise. Your own pictures appear to readers once you have bought Loop, and during the trial links show Loop's own preview card.
Open Settings, choose Account, and press Set Up under Custom Domain. Type an address such as files.yourcompany.com and Loop shows the one record to add where you manage your domain, with a button that opens your provider's page. A whole domain works too, through a nameserver change. Once it is live, new links use your address.
Open Settings, choose Account, and press Invite under Invite Teammate. Loop opens a ready email in your mail app with their invite link, which works for seven days. Teammates share from their own Mac and never pay. Invites need a Team licence or the free trial. A team can hold 5 or 10 people, including you, depending on your licence.
14 days, with everything included.
Yes. They live in your own account.
Pro is for one person and costs $49. Team is for a group sharing from their own Macs: $199 for up to 5 people or $349 for up to 10, you included. All three are a single payment and each key works on up to 3 Macs. Teammates never pay, and they share the same templates and brand. During your trial you can compare them in Settings under Licence.
Open the Help menu in Loop and choose Report a Bug, Request a Feature or Roadmap. The same links are in Settings under Support. Each opens our Support Centre, where you can describe what happened, vote on ideas, and see what is planned. We read everything, and you can also email support@theodorehq.com.
