Before/After Time Settings

Doren, we're looking into how we can make the before/after time settings clearer, thanks for flagging that. We'll post an update here once we have something to share.

Doren, this is now sorted in the latest update. Solace 1.0.47 lets you set your switch times up to 2 hours before or after sunrise and sunset, and each one is set independently.

To do it, open the Schedule section and tap the sunrise or sunset time. Choose Earlier or Later, pick your amount (anything from 15 minutes up to 2 hours), check the new switch time in the preview, then tap again to confirm. You can also drag the sun or moon marker along the timeline if you prefer.

Doren, thank you for coming back to us. This is now being addressed.

When Solace updates it restarts itself, and for a short while after starting it deliberately leaves your appearance alone so it never changes your screen unexpectedly. That was applying too broadly, and it was also ignoring the change you had just made yourself. Setting sunset to 2 hours earlier was saved correctly, it just was not acted on.

The latest update, 1.0.48, resolves this. A change you make now takes effect immediately.

Please update when prompted, then set your sunset offset again and it will apply right away. Thanks again for flagging it, and for your patience while we tracked it down. Do let us know how you get on.
