Fixing the "space" between words where the timing is off by milliseconds making the two words completely wrong because of one letter...

My moot common mistake is the last two character sin a word, or the space at the end of the word as I start the next word. it's not that I don't know how to spell, it that I type fast and frequently make these kdins of com on typos. A human cna quickly and easily identify what I did...but spelling tools fail miserably...including Charm which I was hoping wouldn't. Typing to an AI bot, fully dunesands me with never any issue, and I can be lazy typing. But Charm's AI fails completely to understand these common typos.Original:My msot ocmmon mistake is the last two character sin a word, or the space at the end of the word as I start the enxt word.  its not that i don't know how to spell, it sthat I type fast and frequently make these kdins of comon typos.  A human cna quickly and easily identify what I did...but spellign tools fail miserably...including Charm which I was hoping woudln't.  Typing to an AI bot fully dunerstnads me with never any issue and I can be alzy typeing.  But Charm's AI fails compeltely to udnerstand these common typos.

Thanks for such a detailed write-up, it genuinely shaped what we built. The latest update (1.0.54, out now via Check for Updates) improves exactly the kind of fast-typing slips you described:

  • Transposed letters where the closest spelling isn't the right word (your "msot" landing on the wrong word): Charm now weighs the whole sentence and picks the word that actually fits.
  • Mistimed spaces that split or join two words ("character sin" for "characters in", "com on" for "common", "it sthat" for "its that"): Charm now repairs these.

Two quick notes: these are strongest with Fix Selection (select your text and press Option-Command-V), which is also how Charm works in web browsers and Electron apps. And a few very heavily scrambled words may still slip through, which is the next thing on our list. Any other questions, please let us know. Thank you.
